Working at CEWE
We at CEWE are a team, and we embrace solidarity and collegiality. You can look forward to an inspiring atmosphere that promotes your personal and professional development. A mutual passion for our work and a strong spirit of solidarity among colleagues are particularly important to us. Together, we can achieve great things.
You, too, can become part of the CEWE family.
CEWE - a high-tech company
As pioneers in the digitalisation of photo products and drivers of innovation for an entire industry, we work with the latest technologies. Our photo products are not the only things we manufacture ourselves. We also develop our apps, software, and web applications independently and in-house.
A structured start at CEWE
As a rule, all new members of the team – whether they are working in software development, production, or management – get a comprehensive introduction to the entire production process during their first weeks with us. The rest of this introductory period involves on-the-job training courses, with the whole team offering valuable advice and support. Within the first four months, we provide a comprehensive orientation day known as ‘Welcome Day’. Here, new team members receive company know-how and have the opportunity to meet and establish contacts with colleagues from a wide range of different departments and board members.
Flat hierarchies with 4,000 innovative minds
In agile project teams, in production—in fact, in the entire CEWE Group—you will find flat hierarchies that allow you to play an active role and assume long-term responsibility. Every member of the team brings their individual ideas to the table, and together, we can make a big difference and find appropriate solutions. Our in-house fair, the CEWE Innovation Days, deserves special mention. Here, numerous employees present new ideas and projects, thus driving forward a continuous process of innovative change within the company.
Further development is important to us
Our aim is to set trends with our products and move with and ahead of the times as an organisational culture. That is why we place particular emphasis on a feedback culture supported by structured surveys or agile retrospectives. We also conduct regular performance reviews with employees and offer a wide range of options for further development via our internal training academy.
Family & work – healthy balance in a changing world
Making it possible to reconcile our jobs and families is at the top of our agenda. We strive to keep pace with societal changes and have already implemented numerous projects. With our extensive in-house crèche “cewelino” in Oldenburg, we put a smile on the faces of the children and our employees. In addition, we offer employees several weeks of childcare in Oldenburg during the summer holidays and many sporting activities and events from which all employees can benefit. That is because, for us, having fun together is just as important as professional development.
