Digital Location Lower Saxony Award
CEWE is the 'Digital Location Lower Saxony' and bears the seal by the BSFZ.
CEWE has mastered the transformation from the film photography business to the digital sphere in an exemplary fashion. The “Mobile & Artificial Intelligence Campus (MAIC)” has been set up to benefit also from future technological opportunities. These competences and the company’s regional commitment make CEWE a pioneer in the field of digitalization. The activities in Oldenburg are set to secure future workplaces in Lower Saxony and promote the research location.
In June 2019, CEWE was therefore awarded as the first “Digital Location Lower Saxony” by Lower Saxony’s Minister for Economic Affairs, Bernd Althusmann. The initiative acknowledges institutions that have rendered Lower Saxony a great service by majorly engaging in its digitalization.
Since 2023, CEWE also bears the seal by the BSFZ (Bescheinigungsstelle Forschungszulage) which proves the company’s competences in innovations.
