Applying to CEWE

In all honesty: no two job application processes are exactly the same. The jobs we have to offer at CEWE are much too varied for that. Nevertheless, we try to make the application process as quick and uncomplicated as possible. To give you an initial overview, the following section provides some information on the general process at CEWE.

We are always happy to receive job applications electronically or via good old snail mail. But we like it most when you apply online in response to a specific job ad, ensuring that your application is entered directly into our application management system. To do this, simply click the “Apply” button on the bottom left of the respective job posting on our Careers page. You can apply for the job that interests you in only 2 minutes.

As soon as you upload and send your data and documents, your application has been registered, and we will send you confirmation of receipt to the e-mail address you specified. This way, you can be sure that your documents have been received successfully.

The department will now examine your application and make an initial assessment together. We will contact you promptly if we need further documents or information from you. How long the initial selection process takes depends strongly on the target group and the specific position to fill. As a fundamental rule, the entire process – from when you first contact us to our hopefully positive reply – should not take longer than 3 to 4 weeks.

If we want to meet you personally after examining your application, you will receive an invitation—by telephone or e-mail—to a job interview. Sometimes, we also conduct telephone interviews as the first direct contact with applicants.

As a rule, the job application process at CEWE has several stages, which means that depending on the nature of the position, further face-to-face meetings take place with an even stronger focus on job-specific topics, during which you will get to know other (team) colleagues at CEWE. Soon after your first interview at CEWE, you will receive feedback on the status of your application and further procedure.

If all interviews go successfully, you will receive an offer to enter into a contract for your new job in our team, containing the details agreed upon with you. If you accept, you become part of the CEWE family.

Once we discuss all the details of the contract and your entry into the company, you are ready to take up your new position with us. As a new member of the team, an exciting and intensive onboarding phase awaits you. We look forward to welcoming you to CEWE.
